Coastal Brown Bear

An Alaska hunting adventure is a topic that never seems to be discussed without the mention of big Brown Bears.  The postcard shot of Southeast Alaska is rich with glacier covered mountains, eagles swooping over a river valley and of course a big brownie on the flats! Where we hunt will be just that, like your hunting right in the cover of a magazine, the country itself makes for the adventure of  a lifetime.  Our area encompasses the Misty Fjords National Monument and Wilderness Area, based out of Ketchikan and Hyder gaining access to one of the few remaining truly untouched hunting areas Southeast Alaska has to offer.

1x1 Coastal Brown/Black Bear   12 Day Hunt - $29,000.00

Northern Professional - Outfitting and Guide Service is an equal opportunity employer and is proud to offer Brown Bear hunts operating under a Special Use Permit issued by the Tongass National Forest USDA, Misty Fjords Ranger District.

The hunt will be based out of Ketchikan using the Grizzly Rose as basecamp and a 15ft inflatable skiff to access the beaches and flats after a potential shooter boar has been spotted.  This is truly one of the most exciting ways to hunt bears in style, on the ground spot and stalk, with a warm comfy bed and a hot meal to return to every night. Under a strict USFS quota system, our unit only has three brown bear hunts per year in this area, keeping it severely under pressured. All Brown Bear hunts can be combo'd with Black Bear on the same trip and include shrimping and crabbing at the clients request and ambition! So come experience SE Alaska at its best, hunting Brown Bears in the Misty!

*First Availability for Dall Sheep Hunts is August, 2027*
