Come Join Us On The Grizzly Rose! Most people are aware of the various cruise options available to visit Alaska by. But have you hear of private, small vessel cruises? These intimate, low capacity cruises take place on smaller vessels tailor made for visiting small out of the way destinations that would otherwise go un-visited! Catering towards wildlife viewing, fishing and whale watching, we cater to 6 people or less! This gives you our undevided attention, ensuring you make the most out of your trip! I spent my early life commercial fishing in the area leaving me with intimate knowledge of the weather patterns and secret bays and attractions that lie in hiding in the maze of islands that make up Southeast Alaska.
Cruises depart from Ketchikan Alaska and return to Ketchikan Alaska, so no need fo taxing travel logistics! Weather plays a factor, and basing out of one area allows us to take advantage of the weather conditions provided. We will have the options laid out for everyone to decide on, whether you want to take advantage of the nice weather and explore the outer coasts whale watching and fishing or wait it out in a protected hidden bay up close and personal with seals, otters and bears feasting on crab legs and red wine! However we need to structure the trip we are as flexible as we need to be to make the most of it!
During your stay on the M/V Grizzly Rose, you will enjoy your own private stateroom equipped with full bathroom, queen size bed, and private entrance! We built this boat ourselves and made it a priority to leave all staterooms with enough room that you wont be knocking your elbows on both walls trying to get your pants on! Each room is furnished with a diesel stove for a romantic fireplace atmosphere along with smart tv and starlink highspeed internet if you must check in at the office. One suite is suitable for a couple and the other is suited for a couple plus one extra in a bunk. Our suites are booked solely as a package and theres only 2 rooms booked at a time. These trips are 7 days 8 night adventures that are especially accommodating for folks with children and we encourage family trips.
